African Maritime Forces Summit

The fourth annual Africa Maritime Forces Summit (AMFS 2026) is scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco, from July 20-24, 2026. This critical forum is co-hosted by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe-Africa, and the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, honoring nearly 250 years of partnership between the U.S. and Morocco. AMFS 2026 brings together senior maritime leaders from more than 40 African nations and 20 international partner states to tackle rising threats in Africa’s vital waterways. By prioritizing technology, policy innovation, and joint security frameworks, the summit aims to turn strategic dialogue into real-world action, reinforcing an enduring commitment to African-led solutions for a stable and prosperous maritime environment.
