Tifnit, Morocco - A Royal Moroccan Armed Forces soldier instructs a joint contingent of U.S. Marines, Army soliders, and Air Force airmen during a pistol familiarization during African Lion 14. Nonleathal weapons employment and escalation-of-force operations are an integral part of military operations to prevent the loss-of-life while maintaining civil disorder. During the evolution, Royal Moroccan Armed Forces soldiers, and U.S. military policemen from the Marines, Army and Air Force combined to refine a share their escalation-of-force tactics and procedures while building military partnerships and international friendships.
