A U.S. Marine assigned to Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team (FAST), Company Europe at Naval Station Rota, Spain wait with members of a Moroccan Maritime Interdiction Operations team to board a Spanish navy Augusta Bell 212 Helicopter before conducting Helicopter Rope Suspension Technique training in preparation for Exercise Phoenix Express 2010, April 27. The goals of the exercise are to increase participating countries knowledge base and experience level with FAST unit core capabilities and highlight common safety and security concerns in the maritime environment such as illegal immigration, criminal activity, narcotics trafficking, and weapons trafficking.
