U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Robert B. Sofge Jr., commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa, speaks with Norwegian Soldiers and U.S. Marines, in Setermoen, Norway on Dec. 8, 2023. Sofge visited the Marines participating in the NATO Winter Instructor Course. The NWIC trains Marines and other service members as instructors for cold weather survival in preparation for upcoming deployments.
