The Georgian 43rd Light Infantry Battalion are the feature of the departure ceremony on March 24 at Vaziani Training Area, Georgia, as they, along with U.S. Marine advisors, deploy to contribute to NATO’s Resolute Support in Afghanistan. The U.S. Marines and Georgian soldiers have trained together since October as part of the Georgia Deployment Program.
