Colonel Patrick M. Tucker

Colonel Tucker is from Arlington, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and was commissioned in December 1993. He earned a MBA from Valdosta State University, and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy from Norwich University. He is also a graduate of the Ground Supply Officer Course, the Army Command & General Staff College Fort Leavenworth, KS, and the Royal College of Defence Studies in London.

His command assignments include Bravo Company Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, GA; Motor T Maintenance Company 3d Maintenance Battalion Okinawa; Officer Candidate School Platoon Commander Quantico, VA; Material Readiness Company 1st Supply Battalion Camp Pendleton, CA; Supply Company Combat Logistics Regiment 15 Fwd during Operation Iraqi Freedom; Commanding Officer Defense Logistics Agency Depot Guam Marianas; Combat Logistics Battalion 3 Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii; and Combat Logistics Regiment 15 Camp Pendleton, CA.

His operating force staff assignments include serving in the Supply Management Unit at 3d Force Service Support Group Okinawa; as the Supply Officer of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Okinawa; in the Supply Management Unit at 1st Marine Logistics Group Camp Pendleton, CA; as the Executive Officer of Combat Logistics Battalion 11 Camp Pendleton, CA; and as the Assistant Chief of Staff G4 at the 1st Marine Logistics Group, Camp Pendleton, CA.

His supporting establishment assignments include serving as Formal Schools Supply Officer Marine Corps Logistics Command Albany, GA; the Marine Officer Instructor at the University of Nebraska; the Future Plans Officer in the Joint Logistics Operations Center at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) HQ Fort Belvoir, VA; as the Executive Assistant to the DLA Director; and Futures Branch Head at the Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group 29 Palms, CA.

Colonel Tucker is currently serving as the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe & Africa Deputy Commander. Colonel Tucker's awards include the Legion of Merit, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), the Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), and the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards). Colonel Tucker's hobbies include reading geopolitics, snow skiing, playing tennis, and hiking. Colonel Tucker is married to Mrs. Bonnie D. Tucker and has two daughters: Jenny and Jackie.
