Arriving for a capabilities demonstration, scheduled for the next few days in Stuttgart, Germany, an MV-22B Osprey from the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 (Reinforced), II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C., “taxis” the runway at Stuttgart Army Airfield.The MV-22B Osprey has a unique tilt-rotor capability that allows it to fly twice as fast, twice as high, and six times farther than legacy medium-lift helicopters, while carrying three times more weight.
