An MV-22B Osprey assigned to the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C., approaches the Stuttgart Army Airfield to prepare for a capabilities demonstration, scheduled for the next few days in Stuttgart, Germany. The MV-22B Osprey has a unique tilt-rotor capability that allows it to fly twice as fast, twice as high, and six times farther than legacy medium-lift helicopters, while carrying three times more weight.
