These soldiers are currently deployed here from Georgia conducting a mission rehearsal exercise as part of the Georgia Deployment Program- International Security Assistance Force (GDP-I) prior to their deployment to Afghanistan. The GDP-I is a two-year, time-phased, program which prepares four battalions, one every six months, to be able to integrate with ISAF in Afghanistan.
